To generate an Access Token, you need PCI Booking’s SSL certificate. The certificate contains the public key used to encrypt the token payload. Download it from: https://service.pcibooking.net/api Open that URL in your browser, then follow the steps for your browser below.
  1. Navigate to https://service.pcibooking.net/api
  2. Click the icon immediately to the left of the URL in the address bar.
  3. Select Security / Connection is secure.
  4. Click Certificate is valid (opens a pop-up window).
  5. In the Certificate Viewer, select the Details tab.
  6. Select the certificate *.pcibooking.net and click Export at the bottom.
The certificate file is typically saved as a .cer file. This is the file you pass to the access token generation scripts in the Authentication page.

Certificate changes

PCI Booking replaces this certificate periodically. We email you before each change. After the change, the previous certificate remains valid until the next replacement, so access tokens you generate with it keep working while you switch. When you receive the notice, download the new certificate and use it in your access token generation.
