Delete CVV

This method will delete the CVV stored for a particular token. The remaining card details will not be affected.

The CVV will also be deleted automatically following the CVV retention policy set by the creator or, if no such policy exists, following the default policy of PCI Booking.

Use case example

After the card and CVV are stored in PCI Booking, the card is used to perform a charge (or preauthorization) with the payment gateway.
After this transaction is completed successfully, the CVV should be deleted (assuming no further actions are planned for this card which will require the CVV).

Deleting the CVV from a token is not reversible!
